Soviet/Russian artist Viktor Aleksandrovich Tsvetkov received his primary art education from his father, an icon painter. In 1953 he graduated from the Institute of Painting and Architecture where he studied under B. Ioganson, M. Cheptsov, and V. Obolensky . Tsvetkov was an important representative of the so called "Socialist Realism". The most famous works of the artist: "V. I. Lenin in Razliv "(1969) ," Lenin's speech at the III Congress of the RKSM "(1971) ," Cruiser Aurora "(1982) , "Shepherd" (1966) and others. His first personal exhibition took place in Leningrad in 1953. Tsvetkov's works are kept in many private collections, they are successfully sold at international auctions, and are popular with international collectors. Painting is shipped w/o frame
