Viktor Schreckengost Rare Monochrome Glaze Golf Plate

Viktor Schreckengost (American, Cleveland School 1906-2008) for Cowan Pottery, Golf Plate, molded with a cheerful design of a golfer holding his bag of clubs with various pin flags and floral designs. Impressed Cowan Pottery and impressed circular mark.

Condition: There is a very slight abrasion to the glaze layer on upper left rim of plate, perhaps a spot where the glaze did not adhere to the ceramic body in the making.
