Vilna Gaon: Rosh HaGiv'ah Authored by Rabbi Pinchas of Palatzk, Disciple of the Vilna Gaon; Vilna, 1820

Will of Rabbi Pinchas ben Rabbi Yehuda addressed to his sons and descendants, instructing them how to lead their lives, along with homilies on four parshiyos.

This first edition was published in Vilna, 1820, and is the last treatise compiled by the Maggid of Palatzk, published when the Maggid was already seventy-three years old. In his introduction, the Maggid describes his treatises and his positive encounter with the Vilna Gaon.

Rabbi Pinchas ben Yehuda was known as the Maggid of Palatzk and was one of the prominent disciples of the Vilna Gaon.
