Vincent van Gogh (Dutch, 1853-1890) Manner of: Sand Barges on the Siene, brown ink drawing on laid paper, signed, torn on left edge- possibly a sketch book page, unframed. van Gogh is written in crayon verso, there is also a very light gallery stamp near what might be an inventory number.

Vincent van Gogh was a Post-Impressionist painter who is among the most famous and influential figures in the history of Western art. In just over a decade he created about 2,100 artworks, including around 860 oil paintings, most of them in the last two years of his life. They include landscapes and still lifes.

Aged condition, paper has foxing throughout . There is a dark discoloration on the front of the paper.
