The myth of Europa begins with Zeus, the Greek god, who fell in love with her. While Europa was wandering among her father’s cattle, she encountered a magnificent white bull. Unbeknownst to her, the bull was Zeus in disguise, intending to deceive her. When Europa climbed onto the bull’s back, Zeus leapt into the sea and carried her far from her homeland.
