Description: This HANDSOME cotton 1870's (some fabrics are earlier) sawtooth frame/lattice quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted, with a variety of rich 19th century fabrics. It measures 68" X 80" and is in excellent condition, with the occasional light age spots and surface dirt (see photos) and no wear. There are rainbow designs quilted throughout at an even 10-11 stitches to the inch. The back and machine stitched, rolled binding are the aged white used in the background, and the batting is thin. You can see cotton seed residue inside when you hold the quilt up to the light.
