Vintage 30's Grandmother's Fan Antique Quilt
This GORGEOUS cotton 30's grandmother's fan quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted, with sunny cheddar yellow accents, an unusual "butterfly" configuration and cheery novelty prints and feed sack fabrics.
It measures 78" X 94" and is in excellent condition, with a couple of small, faint spots and no wear. The quilt feels strong and sturdy overall.
There is quilting around the piecework and in a braided design in the background, all at 7 stitches to the inch.
The back and hand stitched, rolled binding are the same sunny yellow as the interior, and the batting is thin.
