Vintage 40's "Philadelphia Pavement" Postage Stamp Antique Quilt ~SMALL PIECES!
This GORGEOUS cotton 40's Philadelphia pavement quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted, with thousands of postage stamp pieces measuring a mere 1" per side. Notice the interesting rainbow colored block in the center.
The quilt measures 80" X 80" and is in excellent condition, with a couple of small spots (most visible on the back) and no wear.
There is grid quilting throughout at 8 stitches to the inch.
The back and hand stitched, rolled binding are white, and the batting is thin.
The AMAZING MOSAIC DESIGN and GREAT COLORS make this vintage COLLECTOR'S QUILT stand out -- it would make a terrific wall hanging!
