Literature

Vintage Alex 5-string banjos are entry-level instruments mass-produced in Japan during the 1960s and 1970s. Like many "stencil" brands of that era, these instruments were manufactured in centralized Asian factories (such as Matsumoto or Kasuga) and stamped with various brand names for different distributors.
