OUTSTANDING Vintage Barn Raising Log Cabin Antique Quilt c. 1900 ~GREAT BORDER!
This DAZZLING turn of the century (1890-1910) cotton and silk barn raising log cabin tied quilt is hand pieced, with hand embroidered accents and an unusual cone border.
It measures 64" X 64" and is in excellent condition, with a light age stain on the back, subtle rubbing at the edge of the binding in places, and no wear.
The back is a beautiful floral fabric and the batting, if any, is very thin. There is a sleeve hand sewn on the back, making this quilt suitable and ready to use as a wall hanging.
