Vintage Bow Tie Antique Quilt. This BEAUTIFUL cotton bow tie quilt is machine pieced and quilted, consisting of a 20's/30's quilt top finished later, likely in the 40's or 50's. The bow tie blocks measure an unusually small 3 1/2" per side. The quilt measures 74" X 84" and is in excellent, never washed condition, with the occasional small age spot, light surface dirt in places (that should all come out in this one's first wash, and no wear. The quilt feels strong and sturdy overall. There are curlicue designs quilted by machine throughout. The back and machine stitched binding are white, and the batting is thin.
