Vintage Bronze Sculpture of Bohemian Bear Tamer

Vintage Bronze Sculpture, Bohemian Bear Tamer; based on the original by Paul Bartlett (1865 - 1925) and in the collection of the Smithsonian Institution. This sculpture is in excellent condition, The bear tamer's smooth body shins and contrasts well with the roughness of the bear. The bronze work sits on a marble base that shows some very minor chipping on the bases top edge. The work measures 8 3/4" W x 8 3/4" D x 15 1/2" H.
