Vintage Cedar Chest and Collection of Jack Daniel's and Dewar's Miniature Bottles

A vintage wooden storage chest with finger-jointed corners containing an assortment of ten miniature liquor bottles. The chest features an inset lithographic landscape of desert rock formations on the lid, surrounded by an engraved floral scroll border. The interior of the lid contains an inset mirror, while the base is lined with a padded white material. The collection includes several glass bottles of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey and Dewar's "White Label" Blended Scotch Whisky. The Jack Daniel's bottles feature printed black labels reading "JACK DANIEL’S OLD TIME Old No. 7 BRAND QUALITY Tennessee SOUR MASH WHISKEY" and include supplemental labels listing awards through 1954, including the "Star of Excellence Brussels 1954." The Dewar's bottles feature white printed labels reading "White Label DEWAR’S BLENDED SCOTCH WHISKY John Dewar & Sons Ltd." Multiple bottles retain partial red U.S. Internal Revenue tax stamps, including one Dewar's bottle with a stamp bearing serial number "098960" and the location "Detroit, Mich."
