Vintage Chevrolet 3100 Pickup

[ translate ]

Vintage Chevrolet 3100 Pickup 1946, Chevrolet began production of the Deluxe Trucks in 1941 until its conclusion in 1947. The Deluxe shared the GM "A" platform branded as GMC. Chevrolet had vertical bars in the grille, while the GMC had horizontal bars. The Deluxe was all new in appearance and easily differentiated from the shared appearance of previous model cars & trucks. 1946 was the first year in post-WWII production, with many options. Chevrolet offered 4 models of the 3100 series 1/2 ton trucks across 2 brands.
This truck underwent a street & show restoration 35-40 years ago. It does have some age to the restoration but is in good overall condition. Perfect for a sunny day drive around town or to the local car show. The period-style two-tone paint makes this truck an eye-catcher. The crisp interior and new bed slats draw your attention up close.
The restoration is nicely done and has been garage-kept for the past 20 years by its most recent owner.
