Circa 1970. This is a lot of 6 collectors character dolls handmade by "Jay" at Dublin. The dolls are handmade in Ireland. These dolls are made in Ireland. Detailed facial features and gray hair. Hands are made of felt. The body is made of wire which allows the doll to be posed in different positions. Most of the dolls Include hangtag with information about artist and doll. The dolls are clothed in wool tweed, knit, linen, and felt. All have shoes and some are glued to a wooden square board. There are some known chips on the hand-painted faces. The dolls measure approx. 3" x 6 1/4"
