The rug exhibits some signs of wear consistent with its age. There is visible unraveling of threads, particularly in the central medallion area and along some parts of the border, which appears to be intentional or part of a deconstructed aesthetic. Some areas show minor discoloration or fading, and there are scattered loose threads throughout the pile. The edges and corners show light wear. No major stains or tears are immediately apparent.
