Vintage Hand Carved Wooden Water Buffalo With Glass Eyes. It has a rider who may or may not be Laozi, who was an ancient Chinese philosopher and writer. He is the reputed author of the Tao Te Ching, the founder of philosophical Taoism, and a deity in religious Taoism and traditional Chinese religions. He was known for riding a water buffalo. This is approx 7" x 2" x 8" and it weighs 1.80lb. The figurine is in a good, vintage condition with some white markings, some small chips and some cracks on the back.
