Additional Information: Vintage and Iconic are only two words that describe this brilliant silvertone runway necklace and earring set from Paris Haute Couture in the 1960’s and the height of the fashion Era of yesteryear. The set has a pendant necklace with an enormous gorgeous pear shaped glass ‘headlight’ stone in a silver tone setting that free floats on a thick snake or cobra 16” chain, and the rare clip earrings match the pendant with the same shiny silver finish in a rounded cube shape. The earrings are 7/8” inch, or almost an inch, cubes. I have seen and sold LANVIN PARIS ‘headlight’ stones before and I have never seen these rare matching earrings. The pendant is two inches long with the setting and a very deep and highly faceted ‘headlight’ stone so it, as well as the stones in the clip style earrings sparkle like real Diamonds, that are huge! The neck chain has a large spring ring closure and so it is easy to add another snake chain bracelet to add to the neck length or change the drop. The set is on overall excellent condition with no finish problems and good working clip backs on the earrings. The back of the pendant has a teeny flake on the mirroring and when held up to the light I see a couple of pin points, but as you can see from the pics, none of this is a visual deterrent. (If this is a concern and you are interested in this set, please contact us. I have found a spray paint product and seen it demo’d on You Tube by a third party that creates the mirrored finish on glass and I will be glad to pass that info along.) There are no chips to the faceting on the top of the pendant and all of the finishes are in perfect condition and all pieces are signed. A set that is very wearable, and so collectible with these rare matching earrings and are so popular in the silver tone with people of all ages, this is a truly iconic set from the oldest fashion house in France!
