Vintage Large Three Dimensional Cigarettes Advertising Sign with Cowboy Graphic

A large retail point-of-sale advertising sign featuring a three-dimensional, die-cut graphic of a cowboy in a hat and western attire crouching with a rope. The sign is constructed in three distinct horizontal sections. The upper section features a red chevron peak against a white background, typical of twentieth-century tobacco branding. The center section is composed of a dark brown panel textured to resemble vertical wood grain, featuring the word CIGARETTES in raised yellow serif lettering. A black adhesive label with white sans-serif text reading BENSON & HEDGES is applied to the lower left, partially covering a fragmented white label reading ARK. The bottom section is a horizontally textured panel finished in a dark brown wood-grain effect. A white rectangular adhesive label in the lower right corner contains a mandatory health warning which reads: Warning: The Surgeon General Has Determined That Cigarette Smoking Is Dangerous to Your Health. The sign is a mixed-media piece, likely utilizing vacuum-formed plastic for the main body and die-cut composite or plastic for the raised cowboy figure.Width: 37 inchesHeight: 26.5 inches.
