This vintage antique gilt wood pedestal is classically designed with applied gesso decorations. The solid wood pedestal dates from the late 19th century & was made in France. The pedestal has some issues. The gold gilt is missing here & there. The base of the column features an encircling trim line of mahogany. The top section shows wear also. The piece is functionally sound & can accent any appropriate room decor.46 1/2" tall X 14 1/4" square
