A vintage miniature Chinese four-panel table screen (known as zhuōpíng, 桌屏) is a small-scale folding divider originally designed for a scholar's desk, shelving display, or curio cabinet. These elegant pieces function as functional desk art or Chinoiserie accent decor. While massive multi-panel floor screens historically partitioned architectural spaces, these miniature variations became highly popular Chinese export pieces during the mid-to-late 20th century
