Vintage NEW ZEALAND FERNS Wood Carved Book. Pages filled with dried fern specimens. Inside cover reads as Prepared and Mounted by T. Cranwell, Parnell. 30 pages each with a different type of fern, mounted specimen, and scientific name. Piece measures approx 7 1/2 x 9 3/4 inches. Evident wear to book consistent with age and use, one of the marbled pages inside has fully separated. There is some damage to pages and ferns, tears and separations, discoloration from where ferns have pressed against pages, wear to binding, several ferns lifting from pages.
