Vintage New York Athletic Club Ruby Solid Gold Ring

This is a handsome estate found vintage ring dating to the 1930s. Rendered in fine 10K gold, this heavy ring is a member's ring for the New York Athletic Club (NYAC). Founded in 1868, the New York Athletic Club is a private social and athletic club in New York City. The club was modeled after the London Athletic Club and the goal was to sponsor athletic competitions in the New York area and to keep official records for different sports. The synthetic flame fusion stone is adorned with the logo of the club, a Winged Foot. Representations of Pegasus flank the initials of the club on either side of the setting.
