Provenance:A Vintage Parrot on Branch Chalk String Holder. Wonderful bold vivid colors. Has wire for hanging. String Holders were used in Country Stores & Kitchens to tie packages. During the 1940's most homes in America had a string holder of some sort. Excellent condition – at end of branch there is minor roughness and touch up to paint. Displays nicely.
