Vintage Pepsi-Cola Advertising Mirror in Wood Frame

A framed advertising pub mirror featuring a reverse-painted glass sign for Pepsi-Cola. The rectangular sign is designed in a Victorian revival style, centered around a blue ground with the early Pepsi:Cola script logo including a small registered trademark symbol under the loop of the P. The composition includes an oval vignette on the left framed in a golden lace pattern, depicting a woman in an Edwardian-era plumed hat and gown seated in a soda fountain setting. To the right of the woman, a bottle and a glass are pictured on a tray. The lower portion of the design features pink-toned scrolls with the text A NICKEL DRINK WORTH A DIME, flanked by two large 5 cent denominations in the lower corners. The piece is housed in a stained wood frame with a molded profile. The reverse is finished with a corrugated cardboard backing secured by circular metal fasteners and features three metal keyhole hangers for mounting. A yellow adhesive price label reading 10.00 is present on the upper right corner of the glass.Width: 24 3/4 inchesHeight: 20 1/2 inches.
