Vintage Pheasant Brass Statuette, Artist Signed, 1930-1950s

Vintage statuette of a ring neck pheasant with wings open taking off. Brass on wooden base, artist signed [unidentified], c.1930s-1950s, intended as a decoration or a bookend.

Brass statuette with enamel on head and neck for head color and neck ring, some natural patina; c.5.1/2" [14cm] high including wooden base, and 7.1/2" [19.1cm] length from beak to tail, 4.1/2" [11.4cm] the wing span. The wooden base is 8.3/4" x c.3.1/2" [22.2cm x 8.9cm]; green felt on the bottom, some wear, aging, very good condition.
