Vintage Pinwheel Kaleidoscope Diamonds Antique Quilt
DAZZLING Vintage Pinwheel Kaleidoscope Diamonds Antique Quilt ~NICE INDIGO!
This VIBRANT cotton diamonds/pinwheels/kaleidoscope quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted, consisting of an 1880's/1890's indigo, double pink/cinnamon pink & white quilt top finished later, probably in the 1940's or 1950's. The quilt was made by Effie Rieman and came out of Rising Sun, Indiana.
It measures 72" X 86" and is in excellent, sturdy condition, with a couple of small, faint age spots and no wear.
There is quilting around the piecework throughout at 8 stitches to the inch.
The back is white, the hand stitched binding is the same solid navy blue used in the border, and the batting is thin.
The GORGEOUS DESIGN and GREAT CONDITION make this vintage beauty stand out -- it would make a terrific wall hanging!
