Vintage Remington High Velocity 357 Magnum Empty Ammunition Box

A vintage rectangular cardboard Remington brand ammunition box designed for .357 Magnum cartridges. The packaging features a two-tone color scheme with a green upper portion and a yellow lower portion. The green section is printed with white text reading High Velocity and 50 CENTER FIRE CARTRIDGES, alongside a black warning label stating WARNING: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. The Remington name is prominently displayed in a white stylized script. The top panel bears a small black oval DuPont logo and indicates the manufacturer as Remington Arms Company, Inc. located at 939 Barnum Ave., P.O. Box 1939, Bridgeport, Connecticut 06601. One end flap is printed with technical specifications including 357 Magnum, 158 GR. LEAD SEMI-WADCUTTER, and the product code R357M5. A small white circular adhesive label with the handwritten number 04110 is applied to the green section of one end flap. The underside of the box and the interior are not visible; this lot consists of the empty packaging only. The box measures approximately 5 7/8 inches in length.
