Title: Vintage Signed West Germany Pinks & Pearls Waterfall Necklace, Fabulous Construction
Additional Information: A beautiful array of wired on beads with strands of faux pearls with matte pink and frosted pink translucent beads make up the flower and seven drops of the center waterfall on this necklace. A beautiful waterfall, the center station is about two inches long and 1 ½” wide. The neckline has the same beads with tiny clear round beads as spacers, (also used to top some of the bead ends in the center station), as well as deep pink glass melon beads. There are two strands of the same various glass and Lucite or plastic beads used in the center station on the sixteen inch neckline (which include the two inch beaded extender and plumb). The closure is a simple hook style closure and it is marked M WEST GERMANY, for Made in West Germany. At first glance I thought this was an early Haskell necklace because of the design and the center fitting, which looks like a fitting that Mariam Haskell used, and that makes sense because I believe she purchased her fittings and beads often from Germany. An array of soft pink colors, this vintage necklace is a c.1950 piece and very collectible. No Reserve
