Vintage Sterling Cuff Link & Tie Bar Set, 1950's, by B. A. Ballou, Co. from Providence, R.I. The patent was approved on 3/13/51 but applied for on, oddly, my birthdate - not year, December 30th, 1947. The cuff links are about 7/8" long and 1/2" wide - they are signed sterling on one and the patent no. 2544893 on the other. The mechanism is not sterling but the face is. They have an open filigree style design on both the cuff links and the tie bar. Very nice set. They are in very good condition with only the wear the surface gets - not damaged, etc. From a PA estate - see photos. (Lot. Loc. W-4.8-5.617G1.4 - D 12/9/17).
