Vintage Sterling Silver Stork/Heron Brooch, Turquoise

This is a true vintage Mexican Sterling Silver Brooch from the 1950-1950's. It is a 3.25" tall bird - a stork or a heron - that is 2.25" wide and has a turquoise snake eye as the eye, bezel-set. It is signed Silver Mexico on the back tip of the longer wing. Nice detail with ridges in the wings and little dot accents. It does have some typical and expected vintage wear and patina but could be cleaned if desired but given it's age, I do not clean pieces as many collectors want the piece as as. The weight is 21.09 grams. The pin back is built into the pin and an older style locking mechanism. This came from a PA estate sale. Good condition. See photos. Lot. Loc. Win.1.2816.1X1 - LD 2/1/17.
