Vintage Sterling Southwestern Turquoise Brooch, Snake

Vintage sterling southwestern turquoise brooch with snake eye stones and an oval center stone. Petit Point design with the use of small stones. The stones are all bezel set with a rope accent frame around the entire brooch. Weight is 6.37 grams and the pin is 1-1/8" long and 5/8" wide. The center oval stone is appx. 18mm by 6.5mm and the snake stones are appx. 3mm across. There are twelve snake eye stones. This is an appx. 1950's brooch. It is not signed but the pinback is definitely an older style, could even be from the 1940's. Tests as silver too. Very good condition especially for it's age - only light wear with typical tarnish but the vintage look is great with this pin as is. It is possible it is also a native american piece that the Zuni were known for. Good condition.
