Vintage Sterling Turquoise Squash Blossom Necklace &

Vintage Southwestern Turquoise Squash Blossom Necklace & Earrings Set - Butterfly Style - could be Zuni/Navajo - not sure. It has ten bow-like blossoms each with an oval cabochon that is appx. 9.5mm by 7.5mm, bezel set. The bows themselves are 1.5" by 7/8". They are strung on a double strand that makes up 15" of the 25" necklace. The silver beads are approximately 6.2mm wide. Weight of the necklace and earrings is 106 grams. It has a naja pendant that is approximately 2.25" by 2" - it is bounded on a thin bar that is strung at the center of the double strands. It has hand-like ends on the tips. I am sure this naja is symbolic of something. It has hook and ring closure. The earrings are pierced and an exact match of the box bow like blossoms on the necklace. These bows are a stamped design with the loops of the bow being raised and on the back they are concave. Around the stone there is a ridge stamped design. The turquoise is a blue with brown veining - I am not sure which turquoise mine this came from. This is in very good condition other than the light oxidation which can be polished but they look fine as is. The design itself has a dark look around the bow and beads - that will go away of properly polished. I did test it to be sure it was not burnished to stay dark . The beads are often referred to as Navajo pearls - they are hand made beads that are soldered together in the center. This is not signed by the maker. This is a beautiful set but I believe it is not as vintage as the Old Pawn style. It is marked sterling and all parts have been tested. I changed the hooks as they had some wear. Sterling Silver hooks were used. There is no magnetic reaction to any part of the set. This came from a PA estate.
