Stunning Retro clip was created by Trabert & Hoeffer-Mauboussin in the 1940's. It belongs to their famous "Reflection" collection that was an entirely new concept of jewelry style. This collection is a mile-stone in jewelry manufacturing and is mentioned in a book "Hollywood Jewels" by Penny Proddow, Debra Healy and Marion Fasel. Design was inspired by Nature - the clip is tastefully made as a stylized bunch of thistles. Perfect proportions, elegant and gracious lines, outstanding workmanship! The brooch measures 4.5" vertically and 2.5" horizontally. It weighs 46.6 grams.
