This very attractive postwar carpet shows an ecru field with an allover ascending design of ragged palmettes,petal palmettes, a vase ad stiff stems, detailed in green, goldenrod, rust and navy. Striking bold navy border with barbed rosettes, ragged palmettes, bold forked arabesques and small floral sprays. Coarse/moderate weave on cotton. Size: 9' x 10'8" (2.74 x 3.25 M).
