Vintage Womans Hat Box

Vintage Woman's Hat Box; this heavy paper board box is marked "Picketts Chattanooga, Tenn.". This fine clothing store was in business between 1936 and 2001. This box shows what appears to be the original cord. It is in very good condition with the only issue being an area where the top black finish is chipped (1" x 1 1/4" at the 6:00 position). The box holds it's shape and appears to have alway been dry. It measures 7 1/4" H x 14 1/4" DIA.
