An authentic vintage Burnham propelling pencil, made in England and dating to approximately the late 1940s/early 1950s. Featuring an attractive multi-coloured marbled celluloid body in the distinctive mosaic or woodland-style pattern, with gilt-coloured clip, centre band and fittings.
A particularly attractive example of a mid-20th century British writing instrument. Currently without lead.
Condition:
Good vintage condition with general age-related wear and some tarnishing to the metal fittings, conducive with its age. No lead present; mechanism not fully tested.
