We would like to thank the Artists' Legacy Foundation, who manages the artist's work, for providing the following information about this lot: "We believe this plate was produced at Manufacture de Sèvres in France in 1986. During that time, Frey was in residency with Betty Woodman, Adrian Saxe, and James Caswell. Frey’s teacups and plates are featured in several museum collections, including LACMA, the Met, and di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art."

Medium: American; porcelain

Condition: very good, no chips or cracks

Size: 1"h, 6.5"dia

Provenance: Provenance: Collection of Donna Schneier, Manalapan, Florida.
