Jansenist dark blue morocco, ribbed spine, burgundy morocco linings decorated with an aubergine morocco scroll and three gilt fillets in the frame, as well as gilded and mosaic weapons in the center, burgundy moiré silk guards, double guards, gilt edges on witnesses, cover and spine preserved, case (P. Affolter - J. Augoyat suc.) .

Very beautiful edition printed in only 125 copies on Arches vellum (n°45) , illustrated with 49 original etchings, including four full page, by Paul-Adrien BOUROUX, Auguste BROUET, Edgar CHAHINE, Henry CHEFFER, André DAUCHEZ , Amédée FÉAU, Georges GOBÔ, Pierre GUSMAN, Charles HALLO, Georges JEANNIOT, Charles JOUAS, Georges LE MEILLEUR, Gustave PIERRE, Tigrane POLAT, Eugène VÉDER and Louis WILLAUME.
