Condition: Lined, scattered retouch, craquelure (predominantly in vertical lines) with tenting, lifting near lower center and lower right, varnish inconsistencies in some areas of retouch.

The retouch consists of a smattering of about 24 dots of retouch distributed in a horizontal band across the sand and foreground dune. The varnish inconsistency is more noticeable in raking light in two spots: a 3/8 inch spot in the center and a 1/4 inch spot along the lower right edge, where the paint appears a shade lighter than the surrounding sand.

There are two areas where the craquelure appears to be lifting slightly, one lower center and another center right side.
