The important lithographed Confederate imprint of the Bucholtz-Ludwig map. Map measures 27.5" x 37.5". Overall framed size 37" x 47.5". Overall toning, some losses to paper at the folds. With original map pocket taped to back of frame "Map of Virginia", "Richmond/ West & Johnston/ Publishers/ 1862", rear of pocket with "Sic Semper Tyrannis" logo.
Condition Report: Well framed. Some losses at folds. The pocket pouch is at the reverse of the frame.
