No. 1301, solid wood vibrating tone arm with steel needle, connected by spring-loaded thread to the horizontal diaphragm, for vertically or laterally-cut records, spring drive with crank, oak case with horn in the lid, 17 x 19 5/8 x 41 1/3 in., very good working condition. - Note: The Vitaphone can play with the lid open or closed as the sound is transmitted to the horn through a complex series of joints. The design boats several other technically advanced features, presumably in order to circumvent patents by other companies.

Nr. 1301, Tonarm aus Massivholz mit Stahlnadel, waagerecht liegende Membrane, verbunden durch gefederten Faden, geeignet zum Abspielen von Tiefenschrift- und Seitenschrift-Schallplatten, Federwerkantrieb mit Kurbel, Eichengehäuse mit Trichter im Deckel. Das Vitaphone spielt sowohl bei geöffnetem als auch bei geschlossenem Deckel, da der Ton durch eine komplexe Reihe von Gelenken an das Horn übertragen wird. Maße 43 x 50 x 105 cm, sehr gut funktionierender Zustand. - Dieses Grammophon besitzt mehrere technisch fortschrittliche Merkmale, vermutlich wurden diese jedoch nur verwendet, um Patente anderer Firmen zu umgehen.
