Vitra - Charles Eames, Eero Saarinen - Fauteuil - Organic Armchair - Fabric

I am selling an original Organic Chair Highback armchair.

Charles Eames and Eero Saarinen created the Organic Chair in 1940 as part of their entry into the "Organic Design in Home Furnishings" competition organized by the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Despite its long design history, the armchair still attracts attention with its design among collectors and lovers of good style.

This is a higher model of the Organic Chair with a headrest supporting the head (Organic Highback) and is in very good condition. It is perfect for reading books, relaxing with a drink or watching TV.

The Organic chair was recently picked up from an upholstery workshop. The armchair has been reupholstered (photos) . Its material is brand new, with no stains, tears or signs of anyone sitting on it.
The material is great Kvadrat/Steelcut Trio 3 from Frans Dijkmeijer & Giulio Ridolfo, which looks great and changes color depending on the light falling on it.

Due to the fact that the upholstered bottom of the armchair originally had tightly glued oak legs, which we did not want to destroy, the material next to them was cut, so it has overlaps and glue residues. This is of course invisible during use.

I will only add that the photos show the actual chair offered, they do not show photos downloaded from somewhere on the Internet.

After purchasing, I need a few days to organize transport due to the need for very good packaging for transport.
