Viviano Biagioni - Regina dei boschi
The sculpture is a unique piece. My favourite material for making sculptures is wood. The interest in experimenting has led me over time to use other materials and in this sculpture they are various. The head was modelled in clay and reproduced in plaster using a mould. The body is made of wood chips. Shoulders carved in wood, arms in tow and iron wire with resin hands. I used antique laces and fabrics to finish some parts. A thistle flower, snails and sprigs covered with lichens are the materials collected in the woods. A proper packaging ensures the integrity of the sculpture.
