NO RESERVE auction of a beautiful Beetle convertible in the original L96 SILBER colour, with a new soft-top and the popular 1600cc engine. This beauty is an original Karmann convertible, the car drives and shifts well. Specifications: · Volkswagen Beetle 1303 convertible (Karmann) · Chassis no. 157xx, it is an original Beetle convertible · Year of manufacture: 1977 · Colour: silver (colour code L96) · Engine: the popular 1600cc with engine code AS. Equipped with a new carburettor. This Beetle has had a major service and many parts were replaced. For example, a new soft-top was fitted by an expert, it looks fantastic with the silver paintwork. New chrome bumpers mounted, new carburettor, an electric windscreen washer fitted (instead of air pressure via the spare tyre) and the ATS rims were sprayed. The bottom is neat. However, it is clear the bottom has had work done to it in the past. You can also see some spots starting to form. Some may need to be repaired in future. The interior is very neat, without holes or tears, the dashboard is neat and without holes or cracks. The paintwork shines beautifully in the sun. The car has a digital radio (working) , but there are currently no speakers.
