Volkswagen - T1 Samba - 1973

[ translate ]

Beautiful Volkswagen T1 Samba: carefully restored for a year and rebuilt as a beautiful Samba Replica (Samba roof was retrofitted) .
\r
This VW T1 has been completely restored in Brazil, with both metalwork and sheet metal completely overhauled. Then painted in beautiful Navy Blue with Lotus white roof and red trim. The bottom and interior have also all been sprayed for a beautiful end result. The total restoration was completely body-off and took over a year! A lot of attention has been paid to details, such as a matching dashboard, two-tone interior, rims with chrome trim, a side entry step board to double roof racks (imperial) . The chassis, axles and doors have also been painted in color.
\r
This T1 has the well-known air-cooled 1500 cc engine with 4 cylinders.
\r
A completely new interior has been installed inside. New curtains, headliner, side panels, new seats, sun visors and of course the sliding folding roof. The chairs are beautifully upholstered in two-tone colors. The front windows are the well-known pop-open samba windows, or can be opened. A new, original chrome Volkswagen logo at the front, luxurious chrome imperials and the original VW hubcaps with chrome trim make this T1 van a real head turner.
\r
This van was imported from Brazil and has the Brazilian license plate. All import duties have been paid and the Brazilian registration papers + customs import documents are of course included with the purchase. The van is sold "as is" and is located in the Netherlands. This is a private sale, so the warranty does not apply. Despite the careful restoration, quality standards in Brazil differ compared to Europe. We therefore recommend that you take into account 10% additional costs / work (indication) before this van is completely technically sound (think of gaskets, a defective part, new seals, brake inspection or replacing the Brazilian headlights for European ones) . The van must be picked up within 14 days of the auction.
