Volkswagen Type 2 is the official designation of the Volkswagen T2 which came on the market in 1967. As the successor of the T1, the type 2 had been further developed. The windscreen was now no longer divided, but consisted of single convex glass. The side windows were larger than before. The Volkswagen T2 has a dashboard with a glove compartment, a standard sliding door and 12-volt technology. Ex-factory available in various model variants: As a closed company car, an optional high roof, as a station wagon (also available with a high roof) , a pick-up, double cabin, a small van and small van L. Special models were also built for the police, fire department and medical emergency services. The air-cooled and water-cooled petrol engine is located in the back of the vehicle. This Volkswagen T2 from 1973 was originally built as a fire truck. Afterwards, this popular version was on television several times as a promotional vehicle for the Dutch 1850 directory enquiries. It is in fine condition. There are of course some minor spots to be found. Engine 100% in good condition.
