Volvo - 480 ES Rey de España - 1986

[ translate ]

This Volvo 480 ES was owned by King Juan Carlos I and was the personal car of his son, the current King Felipe VI, since 1986. It was registered on 25 November 1986 to the current King Emeritus Juan Carlos I of Spain. After a few years in the hands of the Spanish royal family, it was repurchased on 28 December 1988 by the same Volvo dealership who had sold it. It was later owned by private collectors. In perfect mechanical condition, recently tuned-up, with replacement of the timing belt, drive belt, oil and filters, water pump, cleaning of the radiator and recharging of the air conditioning gas, which cools perfectly. Freshly painted in its original red colour. Excellently preserved original upholstery, except for some minor damage. The documents will include a stamped service booklet, the first insurance certificate from Mutua Madrileña, a photocopy of the vehicle registration certificate in the name of Juan Carlos de Borbón, and notification of the transfer of ownership to Volvo Dealers. The car is located in Pontevedra (Spain) , with no valid ITV (Spanish technical inspection) and with a service booklet that certifies the mileage. This offer does not include transport or export. Although it has been serviced, the winning bidder is advised to give it a minor tune-up on account of the length of time it has been left unused.
