Volvo - 740 Turbodiesel Intercooler - 1987

- Inspection valid until 2023. Engine and mechanics in excellent condition, timing belt replaced at 75,000 km. On 18 February 2021, a major servicing was carried out, including replacement of the clutch cylinder on the gearbox side, gasket for the tappet cover, service belts, oil, fuel and air filters, replacement of the DOT 4 brake oil and change of CASTROL 5W 40 engine oil, for a total of €600; 55 km travelled since February. Body and paint in superb condition! The paint is original (checked with a feeler gauge) . Power sunroof, original Volvo stereo system. Car phone system, alarm system with remote control, no air conditioning. Incorrect rear model plate, 760 instead of 740. The only flaw is that it makes a grinding noise when engaging the reverse; the rest of the gears are fine, including overdrive. It definitely needs a new clutch given the current mileage. The car has always been kept in the garage with the utmost care. I have driven about 9,000 km since 2018. It rides like a charm and is even better in person than in the photos! The original Volvo warning symbols and barcodes are still present. Currently fitted with the original Pirelli tyres, which are therefore to be replaced.
