Production of the brand Voutilainen can be as low as no more than 60 watches per year. One of their most iconic collection, the present example of the Vingt-8 features an enigmatic grey "checkerboard" like dial, produced and engine-turned by hand. Its mechanical movement features a more efficient double escapement wheel design, with absolutely astonishing finishing. Preserved in almost like new condition, the present watch is complete with its box and paper and must have been worn a handful of times only. The present lot represents the definitive collector's timepiece.
